Fort Stockton Living & Rehabilitation Hosts Valentine’s Day Party
(FORT STOCKTON, Texas) – On Friday, February 10th, Fort Stockton Living & Rehabilitation hosted its annual Valentine’s Day party. Residents, families, and staff enjoyed listening to music, eating hor d’oeuvres and voting for Valentine’s King and Queen.
Fort Stockton Living & Rehabilitation’s residents and staff took part by enjoying conversation with friends and family, and playing games all afternoon. Jackie Lowe, the administrator of the facility, said the party was a nice way to jump into the spring season and enjoy good conversation and have lots of laughs with the residents and their families.
“The Valentine’s holiday gives us a great excuse to throw a party and open our doors to anyone who would like to join,” Lowe said. “It’s nice to take an afternoon to have some fun and enjoy the company of those you love.”
Lowe said she feels it’s important that Fort Stockton Living & Rehab host annual events such as this Valentine’s Day party to show appreciation and love for both the residents and staff. “We are a big family here,” she said, “And we have a lot of love for all of the residents, so a Valentine’s Day party was just the ticket.”
